[ask] Everblock vs CoBlock - or any other modular block alternativearchitecture

A 10ft Long x 7ft High wall costs a little over $1,000 and saves you from the mess of a construction project and having to use sheetrock, studs, tape, plaster, paint, and contractor. — Arnon Rosan, President and Founder, Everblock

I'm working on a project to provide tiny inexpensive living spaces, and wish to use modular bricks for some of the non load bearing walls. Everblock is the standard, but at $5.25 per full block (when on sale), they are far more expensive than $1.60 per full block by the Shenzhen Company, CoBlock.

Has anyone used the alternative Shenzhen blocks? And what would you recommend - paying the premium, or making do with what I conjecture will only be slightly inferior modular blocks?

Are you aware of better alternatives? >$1000 for a 3m x 2m wall won't facilitate my target cost structure of which needs to be approximately half that :)
